"This photograph was taken on one of the only nice days of the summer in 2009. It was early September, but the days that weekend were still hot. My then girlfriend and I drove up to Killarney Park for a weekend camping trip. We canoed across George Lake, ate sandwiches, took off our clothes and swam for hours. Off of George Lake, there are a bunch of other smaller lakes that you can walk around and swim from rock peninsula to rock peninsula. You hardly see any people here. There are spots remote enough to enjoy the wilderness, be naked, have sex, all with a beautiful view. The rocks in Killarney are granite and quartzite and have been rounded and smoothed from wind and water erosion. And all the algae in the lakes have been killed by acid rain from Sudbury, creating the clearest water, letting you see your canoes shadow thirty meters deep on the rock floor. They're some of the most comfortable rocks to lie on and the freshest waters to swim in. We canoed back to our campsite and slept under two sleeping bags because the nights were cold by them. That weekend was one of my favourite times with her."
