"I went to Camden School for girls and I am still very close with the girls I met there. Every summer we all go to visit our friend Eva’s parents’ amazing country house in the middle of Devon, complete with three rescue horses, a beautiful dog, and a new cat. We love going to visit Debs and Glanny. We wear our pajamas the whole time we’re there, trudge around in wellies, eat a vast amount of cake and cheese, and of course go to the beach. This photo was taken one morning just before we were about to drive back to London. Annabel, Lily and I woke up at 6:30 so that we would have time for a swim. Once we arrived at the empty beach, we thought it too good an opportunity to not to swim in the nude! Peeling off our pajamas and dressing gowns, we ran down the beach and plunged into the icy water.There is nothing quite like the feeling of the freezing cold water against completely naked skin, an invigorating start to the day and the perfect way to end the summer."

Eat: Have some boiled eggs with marmite and lots of salt and pepper – best served after a warm shower.
Drink: If dipping in the morning, take a flask of hot tea or coffee to warm you up.
